Latest News. Strong optical contingent at Round The Bays
The 2009 HSBC Round the Bays fun run attracted some 70,000
people on a glorious autumn Sunday morning in March. The annual event
in Auckland has been held since 1972 and has now grown to be one of the
world's largest funruns with nearly 40,000 registered runners.

A team of 40 from Eye Institute joined the throngs of people who
made their way along Tamaki Drive to St Heliers Bay. Each participant was
presented with a shirt and cap and a goodies bag courtesy of sponsors;
Design For Vision, Johnson & Johnson, Alcon and OHL.
A contingent of 40 (including families) from OHL also participated, as
did 45 optometry students from Auckland University who were sporting
colourful CIBA Vision t-shirts.
